About Megan

Megan is  Daphne Kirk's granddaughter and, at 11 years old, became one of the youngest missionaries in her family, after going to Nepal for 3 weeks.

Megan is a 7th generation Christian in her family line after her great great great great grand parents were on the streets of London and were met by a man named William Booth  of the Salvation Army, who led them to Christ.

Megan has a heart for the needy and hurting people of this world. When she is out playing, in town shopping, or having fun with the family she is always drawn to those who are injured, disabled or homeless. Her heart is to help care for the hurting, and those that others look down on.

We know that Megan desires to do those things that will count for eternity. When she was learning sign language at about the age of 6 years, she asked, "Will there be sign language in heaven?" Daphne said, "No darling, when we see Jesus we will all be OK - the deaf people will be able to hear again." Megan replied, "Well that's not fair is it?! I am spending all this time learning it and I won't get to use it, will I?".

Is that not a heart that wants to do those things that count for eternity?

To finish, Harry (Megan's brother) said she could put a picture of him on her page, but he said she could only do it if  his identity was protected. Below you can see him reflected in the cup;  look carefully, he is the one in the middle.
